Ran out of gas on I-95, the Schuylkill, or a neighborhood street in Philadelphia? CruZen delivers regular, premium, or diesel fuel directly to your vehicle in 20 minutes or less—24 hours a day, seven days a week. No tow truck, no long wait, no membership fees. Just fast, professional fuel delivery from a local CruZer who brings enough gas to get you to the nearest station or home. Track your driver in real time, pay through the app, and get back on the road within minutes.
Running out of gas is one of the most common roadside emergencies in Philadelphia—and one of the easiest to solve when you have CruZen. Unlike traditional roadside assistance programs that route your call through a national call center, assign the job to a third-party contractor, and leave you waiting 60 to 90 minutes (or longer during peak hours), CruZen connects you directly to a nearby CruZer the moment you tap "Request Help" in the app. Our average response time across Philadelphia and the four surrounding counties is under 20 minutes, because every CruZer in the network carries fuel and is already on the road, ready to respond.
We deliver all three major fuel types—regular unleaded (87 octane), premium (91-93 octane), and diesel—so whether you drive a compact sedan, a luxury vehicle, a work truck, or a diesel SUV, we have the right fuel for your engine. Each delivery includes two gallons of fuel, which is enough to get most vehicles five to ten miles down the road to the nearest gas station, or all the way home if you live close by. If you need more than two gallons, your CruZer can deliver additional fuel on request for a per-gallon fee, ensuring you are never stranded twice on the same trip.
CruZen operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, including holidays, because fuel emergencies do not keep business hours. Whether you are stuck at 2:00 AM on a deserted stretch of Route 1 in Bensalem, at 7:00 PM in a Center City parking garage after a long workday, or at 11:00 AM on a Sunday morning in the middle of a Whole Foods parking lot in Ardmore, a CruZer will be dispatched to your exact GPS location within seconds of your request. You will receive the driver's name, photo, vehicle description, and live ETA in the app, so you know exactly when help will arrive—no guessing, no calling back, no sitting on hold with a 1-800 number.
Our service area covers all of Philadelphia (every neighborhood from Fishtown to Southwest Philly, Manayunk to the Navy Yard), all of Montgomery County (Norristown, Lansdale, Conshohocken, Abington, Cheltenham), all of Bucks County (Levittown, Bensalem, Doylestown, Warminster, Bristol), all of Delaware County (Media, Upper Darby, Drexel Hill, Springfield, Chester), and all of Chester County (West Chester, Exton, Phoenixville, Downingtown, Coatesville). We also serve parts of South Jersey (Cherry Hill, Voorhees, Haddonfield, Collingswood, Moorestown) and northern Delaware (Wilmington, Newark, Claymont), making CruZen the only fuel delivery service with true regional coverage across the Greater Philadelphia metro area.

When you are stranded without gas, you need a service that is fast, reliable, transparent, and designed for the way people actually use their phones today. Here is why thousands of drivers in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties now keep CruZen installed on their home screen:
Getting fuel delivered to your exact location is faster and simpler than calling a tow truck or walking to a gas station. Here is the complete process, from the moment you realize you are out of gas to the moment you drive away:
Open the app (iOS or Android), select Roadside Assistance, then choose Fuel Delivery from the service menu. The app uses your phone's GPS to pinpoint your exact location—no need to guess your cross streets or highway mile marker.
The app shows your location on a map. Drag the pin if needed to mark your precise spot (helpful in large parking lots or multi-level garages). Select your fuel type—regular, premium, or diesel—and add any special instructions (e.g., "parked on shoulder near exit 32" or "in covered garage level 2").
The nearest available CruZer accepts your request within 30 seconds. You will see their name, photo, vehicle make and model, license plate, and live GPS location on a map. The app displays their ETA and updates every few seconds as they navigate traffic. You can call or text your CruZer directly through the app if you need to clarify directions or ask a question.
Your CruZer arrives, confirms your fuel type, and pours two gallons of fresh fuel into your tank using a clean, spill-proof container. Payment is processed automatically through the card on file in your app—no cash, no card swipe, no tipping required (though you can tip in the app if you want). Rate your CruZer, close the app, and get back on the road. Total time from request to driving away: usually 25 minutes or less.

Our average response time across the five-county Philadelphia metro area is 18 to 22 minutes from the moment you submit your request to the moment your CruZer arrives with fuel. In dense urban areas like Center City, Manayunk, or University City, response times are often under 15 minutes. In more remote areas like northern Chester County or the outer edges of Bucks County, response times may extend to 30 to 35 minutes depending on traffic and CruZer availability. You can track your CruZer's exact location and ETA in real time through the app, so you always know when help will arrive.
CruZen delivers all three major fuel types used in passenger vehicles and light trucks: regular unleaded gasoline (87 octane), premium unleaded gasoline (91 to 93 octane, depending on the station where your CruZer fills their container), and diesel fuel. When you request fuel delivery through the app, you will be prompted to select your fuel type from a dropdown menu. If you are not sure which fuel type your vehicle requires, check the inside of your fuel door—most vehicles have a label that says "unleaded fuel only" or "premium fuel required" or "diesel fuel only." If you still are not sure, select regular unleaded and add a note in the special instructions field asking your CruZer to confirm the correct fuel type when they arrive. Your CruZer can also look up your vehicle's fuel requirements based on the make, model, and year if needed.
Yes. CruZen operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, including all major holidays. Fuel emergencies do not keep business hours, and neither do we. Whether you run out of gas at 3:00 AM on a Tuesday, 6:00 PM on Christmas Eve, or 10:00 AM on a Sunday morning, you can request fuel delivery through the app and a CruZer will be dispatched to your location. There is no additional charge for late-night, weekend, or holiday service—the price is always $79 total for two gallons of fuel, regardless of when you need it.
Each CruZen fuel delivery includes two gallons of fresh fuel, which is enough to give most passenger cars, SUVs, and light trucks between 40 and 60 miles of range depending on the vehicle's fuel efficiency and driving conditions. Two gallons is typically more than enough to reach the nearest gas station—most drivers in the Philadelphia metro area are within five to ten miles of a gas station at any given time, so two gallons provides a comfortable safety margin. If you need more than two gallons (for example, if you are driving a large truck, an RV, or a vehicle with very poor fuel economy, or if the nearest gas station is unusually far away), your CruZer can deliver additional fuel for $10 per gallon. Just let your CruZer know when they arrive, and they will add the extra fuel and update the charge in the app.
Yes. CruZen delivers fuel to any location where your vehicle is legally parked and accessible by a CruZer. Common delivery locations include highway shoulders, residential streets, shopping center parking lots, office park garages, airport parking structures, college campuses, apartment complex parking areas, and private driveways. If you are in a multi-level parking garage, a gated community, or another location that requires special access instructions, add those details in the special instructions field when you request service (for example, "parked on level 3 of the Whole Foods garage, northwest corner" or "behind the gate at 123 Main Street, access code is 4567"). Your CruZer will call or text you through the app if they need help finding you or accessing the location.
CruZen accepts all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) and debit cards, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay. Payment is processed automatically through the app at the end of your service—you do not need to hand your CruZer cash or a card, and you do not need to sign anything. You will receive an email receipt immediately after your payment is processed. If you want to add a tip for exceptional service, you can do so through the app after your service is complete. CruZen does not accept cash, checks, or third-party payment apps like Venmo or PayPal.
CruZen is currently live and fully operational in Philadelphia and the four surrounding Pennsylvania counties (Montgomery, Bucks, Delaware, Chester), with limited coverage extending into South Jersey (Cherry Hill, Voorhees, Haddonfield) and northern Delaware (Wilmington, Newark). We are actively recruiting CruZers and enrolling Drive+ members in all 50 states through the Nationwide Program, which will bring CruZen fuel delivery and mobile mechanic services to dozens of new cities across the country over the next 12 to 18 months. To check whether CruZen is available in your city, visit cruzenapp.com/nationwide and enter your zip code on the coverage map. If we are not live in your area yet, you can sign up to be notified when we launch—and if you are a driver, mechanic, or roadside service provider, you can become a CruZer and help bring CruZen to your local market by applying at cruzenapp.com/cruzers.
If your vehicle starts running again before your CruZer arrives (for example, because you found a gas can in your trunk, a passerby gave you fuel, or you discovered the problem was not actually an empty tank), you can cancel your request through the app at any time. If you cancel within the first two minutes after your request is accepted by a CruZer, there is no charge. If you cancel more than two minutes after your request is accepted, a $20 cancellation fee will be charged to your card to compensate the CruZer for the time and fuel they spent driving toward your location. The cancellation fee is clearly explained in the app before you confirm your cancellation, so there are no surprises.
